Silent Brick Controller X
Powerful.
The Controller X offers sufficient performance reserves for demanding data backup tasks: up to 6 GB/sec in file transfer and up to 2 GB/sec via S3 as a single node. Plus up to 100G Ethernet. For faster backups and faster recovery – and for fast, active VTL archives as a replacement for tape.
Compact.
The Controller X takes up only 2 HE in the rack and offers up to 768 TB (gross) capacity with its up to 8 slots for Silent Brick Pro – with Silent Brick Max, total capacity can be expanded to more than 6 petabytes. The thermally optimized design requires less cooling, thus reducing data center space and energy requirements.
Durable.
Selected components, redundant power supply units and extensive quality control ensure a particularly long service life. Existing Silent Brick Max can be easily reused from the previous system without loss of data. Together with our CARE Service with a term of up to 10 years, you protect your investment for an exceptionally long period.
