Second location without the need for a second location: with FASTLTA STAR we provide protection for your Silent Cubes system in the event of a disaster.
Your local system (or your first FLEX instance) is replicated in our data center. This means that your data is always backed up, even in the event of a total failure.
Silent Cube DS Pro.
Systems with larger storage capacities usually also require higher performance. That is why we have now upgraded the 16, 32 and 64 TB models with 10G Ethernet, redundant of course. Together with the new Head Unit Pro, this enables installations with an end-to-end 10G infrastructure. Ideal for new modalities and modern archive applications that need that little bit extra.

Expanded Description:
Silent Cube DS and Silent Cube DS Pro are based on the flexible DS platform and offer up to 64 TB of net capacity for the Silent Cube system on a single unit. Adding more Silent Cube DS (Pro) can expand the total capacity to Petabytes. Hardware WORM sealing prevents tampering and accidental erasure of written data. The Silent Cube DS (Pro) is certified for compliant archiving in appropriate systems. A Head Unit (model C4 or later) or Head Unit for VMware is required for use. The Silent Cube DS and Silent Cube DS Pro can also be connected to existing Silent Cubes systems if necessary (with Head Unit model C4 or later or HU for VMware).

The Silent Cube DS in 19-inch format is the new generation of our WORM storage for compliant archiving. Based on our powerful DS platform, it is capable of decades of secure archiving with net capacities from 4 to 64 TB per unit – also available as an upgrade for existing Silent Cubes systems.

Slim on the outside, huge on the inside: the Silent Cube DS offers 4, 8, 16, 32 or 64 TB of capacity (net, uncompressed) per unit. If you like luxury: the original Silent Cube in the excellent cube design is still available.

Like all Silent Cubes, the Silent Cube DS is certified by KPMG for compliant archiving in accordance with German GDPdU, GoBS and RöV regulations in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Certification also includes support for retention periods and subsequent “deletion,” i.e., making access impossible.
Scalable.
Expanding capacity is extremely easy with Silent Cubes. Connect a new Silent Cube to the head unit, log in and assign it in the graphical software interface, and you’re done. Moving data within the system – Silent Transfer, for example, to replace several smaller Silent Cubes with one large Silent Cube DS – is as easy as clicking the right mouse button, happens in the background and is also certified and audit-proof. Smart.
Compatible.
Especially brilliant: No need to modify your existing Silent Cube DS if you use a Head Unit C4 or Head Unit for VMware. Silent Cubes DS can be used alongside the original Silent Cubes without restrictions. This means that the Silent Cube DS is of course also compatible with the numerous software solutions of our technology partners.
